Virkniyfirlit:
The effusive eruption which commenced on 1 April on the Sundhnúkur crater row has been declared over. Elevated seismic activity continues in the area where the magmatic dike propagated on that day. It is still uncertain how the activity will evolve, however the likelihood for another eruption in the coming days is considered relatively low. As such the aviation color code is moved back to yellow. IMO continues to monitor the area carefully.
